Sam is a native of Green River Wyoming. He began performing at the age of 3 in his Mother’s ballet company’s annual production of The Nutcracker Ballet. He received his formal training in classical ballet from Jeanine Taggart West. He has received additional dance training from Jackie Colledge, Andrew Bayne, Marsha Knight, Jen Deckart, Lawrence Jackson and Mark Lanham. He danced one season with Utah Regional Ballet in Lindon UT. While studying pre-med at Western Wyoming Community College he was asked to audition for the musical Titanic. From Titanic until he graduated he was a major contributor to the Theatre program at Western. He was accepted into Palmer College of Chiropractic but decided to follow his heart and now has a Bachelors of Fine Art in Theatre and Dance Performance from the University of Wyoming. Some of his favorite roles have been Billy Flynn (Chicago), John Proctor (The Crucible), Horatio (Hamlet), Limping Man (Fuddy Meers), Bellhop (Lend Me a Tenor), Jimmy (Thoroughly Modern Millie), Thomas Jefferson (First Freedom a New Musical), Billy Bigellow (Carousel), and Leaf Coneybear (25th Annual Putnam County Spelling Bee). He has appeared in 2-feature length Independent Films "Nowhere People" and "Black Hole Wyoming". In 2010 Sam created "Diorama Productions LLC" a production company focused on creating opportunities for artists. His first creation was a web-based sitcom entitled Besties. In the summer of 2011 he directed his first feature length film “The Adventures of Pelicanman and Squirrelboy” which was accepted and shown at the 2013 Salt Lake City Comic Con Film Festival. His short film "Matchless", which he directed and edited, took second place in the 2012 Wyoming Short Film Contest. He is grateful for his family and all their love and support throughout his life.
